Quiet and close to interstate. Breakfast was plentiful but not good. We stayed here twice. The first room had a loud air conditioner that never cooled the room but woke us up all night. On our return trip we booked a different room type to avoid getting that room again. The second room was cool and quiet.
I don't recommend this place to anyone unless you have a perfect life where unexpected circumstance do not come up. I will NEVER visit this place again.
I want to share my disappointment regarding this hotel and their business. I stayed here a few months ago. Thought it was a nice hotel, clean, staff was nice. I enjoyed it so much, I planned another trip back to Oklahoma to visit my brother who is in prison in Sayre. I had to pay for my rooms up front. This was not an issue until the prison changed their policy on special visits to inmates. I live 800 miles away. I called to cancel my reservations because I didn't want to get charged extras fees for no show on the room. I had gone through Expedia to get these rooms and I knew about the no cancellation. But what was I to do? I lost $200.00 and a visit. This place denied my claim to have my money refunded on something I could not control.
Great room for the money. We stayed in a king room that turned out to have a living room in addition to the bed area. The bathroom was really nice and clean, as was the rest of the room. Mini fridge with freezer, microwave, and coffee maker in room. Quiet surroundings and a comfy bed led to a good night's sleep for us. Staff was really friendly and nice! No complaints whatsoever.
I don't know if they've changed ownership or what but the mattresses have gone from comfortable to hard as rocks. They are also "going green" aka now they charge $1 for fresh linens during your stay. The toilet was placed too close to the door and needed a good bump to get the door completely open. The bottom of the tub was dangerously slippery, had to put a towel down just to keep from falling down. The food wasn't terrible but there was a mouse running around which definitely killed the appetite. I've stayed at this hotel 20 or so days a year for several years and probably will be finding a new hotel in the area.
I was very impressed with the room and service. This is a great place to stay. The hotel has a guest laundry room, good breakfast in the morning, plenty of clean towels, a pool, a game room (tennis). Overall I was very pleased
How is that fair?
Very poor business, and money grubbing company.
